Taste so good. Worth the extra load of calories and cholesterol. All the walking exercises to feel less guilty when I consume this Soon Lee's fried oyster is priceless.

Fried Oyster is usually my selection when I visit Haig Road Hawker Center. Food is good and potion for $5 a plate is much for me. Owner does not employ any workers to cut costs, to maintain the stall, the price.

Only cash is accepted, no Qr code displayed. White carrot cake is good. Smallest portion $3.5 But auntie not friendly. I got nagged for taking chili, saying it’s supposed to be for fried oyster one

Went there at around half past 10 in the morning. No queue. Ordered the chilli version. The chilli 🌶️ is quite overpowering for me, kills the taste of carrot cake. You can find few tiny slices of fish cake in the carrot cake. Interesting mix. Anyway the texture is soft and the portion is reasonable for $4. The aunty is quite friendly. …

The $5 Fried Oyster Omelette was a bit of a letdown. The omelette was thick and starchy, lacking the crispiness that makes this dish a favorite. It wasn’t fried enough, which meant it missed that essential "wok hey" flavor that adds depth. …

Aunty not very "friendly" but think is just the way she is, in fact when I ask for another chilli, she is ok with it.. Fried oysters a little too dry that cause the oysters to be "overcooked" but my mom think is better this way, not too oily. Chilli taste good thou..

This stall has been here for many years. Their carrot cake (black version), was sweet and fluffy. Filled generous servings of Chai Poh and fresh chopped spring onions. It had the wok hei taste and wasn't greasy at all. Every bite was satisfying good.
