Came all the way here just to try their signature claypot mutton dishes. We ordered the Claypot Herbal Mutton Soup (Medium - $12) and the Claypot Mutton Curry (Small - $10). The herbal soup had a rich, well-balanced flavor, with the addition of cooking wine elevating the taste instantly. However, the portion of meat was quite small for the price—just two ribs and a few small pieces of meat. The curry mutton was flavorful, and the curry paired well with rice. But again, the portion size was disappointing—only one rib and four small pieces of meat in a $10 serving. Overall, while the mutton was tender and full of flavor, the portion sizes felt too small for the price. The herbal soup, in particular, was so good that you'll find yourself wanting more!
I ordered their signature mutton soup and it was quite good! Herbal soup taste was very pleasant to the tastebuds and the mutton was surprisingly fall off the bone tender. I didn't like the tau pok and will request for it to be left out next time. They accept cash, paynow and paylah.
First time buying Kway chap here after friend told me it is his go to eat. Kway chap soup base looks dillute but actually is flavourful. The big intestine was soft and has no smell. The stall accepts Cdc vouchers too. I ordered the …
Ordered Curry Mutton. Food is passable. The potatoes were harder than the rock of Gibraltar. The uncle's shouting will make you deaf if you sit at the tables near the shop. He bellows thunderously to communicate with someone right in front of him. The price is quite expensive for hawker standards.
29 May 2024 - came back to try it. The meat practically fell off the bones. I am rating it 5 because mutton soup is hard to come by especially in an estate such as Pasir ris. The stall cleverly added black fungus, wolveberries which make …
We tried the mutton soup. Food: the soup has a hint of Chinese wine which complements the mutton flavour. …
Kway chap is diluted and does not have a aroma to it. Braised pork is hard and seems to be only lightly marinated. Same goes for the rest of the ingredients. The pork throttle looks much darker but didn't have a chance to try. Price is …
Had a really comforting bowl of 羊肉汤 (mutton soup) here. The broth was light yet flavorful, with a nice herbal aroma that wasn’t overpowering. Mutton slices were tender and portion size was generous. The soup was served piping hot, perfect …
Really a rare find, hardly able to find herbal mutton soup in Singapore nowadays. Taste is legit, not gamey, not too overwhelming nor bland. Reminiscing old novelties! Really wish they'll stick around for a long time to come.
Delicious mutton soup. The kway chap set is also priced reasonably. Recommend if you are in the Pasir Ris Park area.
