Review of Unkai Japanese Cuisine (#01-88) Unkai Japanese Cuisine offers an impressive variety of bentos and set meals, exactly what a hawker centre should provide for today’s lifestyle. I enjoyed a well-priced salmon bowl with a generous piece of salmon on fluffy Japanese rice — satisfying and good value. I’ll definitely be returning to try more items from their extensive menu.

Absolutely amazing!! Could even say the food is better than some restaurants I’ve been to! The price was reasonable too!

I tried the Salmon & Teriyaki Chicken Bento $8. The salmon was just right and Teriyaki Chicken was delicious. Acceptable standard for Japanese foods at hawker stall. Price reasonable as Japanese dishes are never cheap. Looking for good and cheap Japanese dishes? Worth trying this store.

We love our hawker food. And I couldn’t be happier with these umami-rich, grilled scallops topped with creamy mentaiko mayonnaise at hawker price!

really good japanese curry! stall owners are polite too. not sure why the other reviews are so dated- perhaps they just moved back to old airport road post renovation but the food is tasty!

Had the tori Karaage don($5), it comes with a bowl of miso soup. Taste wise, it was alright. There a variety of food to choose from their menu. Portion wise, it was alright. Would likely to come back for their othet dishes.
