Stall manned by an old couple that sells delicacies such as Crystal pau, turnip pau, red bean pau, fried yam, yam, carrot cake, fried carrot cake etc. Tried the fried yam cake and the turnip pau. Each item is priced at only $1 per piece. Fried yam cake quantity is good at this price. Tastewise both are nice. The fried carrot cake is soft and cuts through so easily. The turnip pau doesn’t disintegrate easily, and that’s a testament to how well it is made.

The abacus seeds are nice but: 1) too oily, 2) too starchy, and 3) not sufficient yam. Still tasty.

Emperor Andi's attitude was poor; he lacked patience. The Manguang cake was good, but the nine vegetables in the Nine-Vegetable Cake were all yellowed, and you couldn't taste their freshness and sweetness! It lacked quality.

Had the yam & sweet potato, indeed not too sweet which allows the natural flavour to come through (I have low sweetness tolerance). Skin was tender yet chewy, recommend!

Rare hawker stall that sells Hakka Abacus Seeds dish. I ordered takeaway and serving size seemed small, but turned out quite filling. Good flavour but slightly salty for me. Also tried their steamed crystal buns, sweet options, so for me this is more a dessert choice. Very unique menu!

Happened to pass by the stall and notice a crowd of people at the stall so I bought some abacus seed to try as rarely got sell nowadays other than the one at shunfu fc. They do sell crystal pau and a few fried stuffs.

Their crystal bao was really delicious and worth buying. The carrot cake and yam cake however were too hard for my liking.

So happy to try the crystal bao, nowadays it's difficult to find it everywhere.. They have a few flavours, I tried red beans and taro, both are quite good and not to sweet. If you have a friend to share, it would be better, because the bao is very fulfilling. =]

Have bought from them for many years. I think they switched stall position. But still the same awesome traditional crystal pau.
