Indeed the best porridge in Singapore. The stock is really umami and well balanced. Small bits of soft minced pork that is well marinated without any strong marinade smell. Even the yu char kway is nice, slightly thinner than usual ones and crispier, with slight hint of sesame oil. Blends very well in the porridge. We also order 2 people’s serving of boneless chicken. It is soft and tender, perfectly cooked, accompanied with crunchy cucumber slices and slathered with a blend of soya sauce, stock, sesame oil sauce. Lines here are long as people tabao 4-7 packs at once. Every single bowl is made singly, with loving care. So please be patient. They might get grumpy occasionally as the stress of managing long lines is quite tough as they grow older.
