The kaya butter toast and kopi were v disappointing. No light soy sauce for the soft boil egg, only got sweet dark sauce. The toast was a measly spread of butter (could even be margarine, dunno) and kaya. I didnt even feel like wasting my calories quota for it. I rather waste my money. I left it untouched and walked a few steps to swee heng 1989 for their taro butter toast. See picture for the difference between the standard of the 2. Px difference 60cts

⸻ Tried the prawn noodles and char kuey teow—both were pretty average in taste, nothing particularly memorable. The store assistant seemed rather impatient, which affected the overall experience. Probably not a place I’d go out of my way to revisit.

Had their fried rice with prawns ($6.50). Rice was too soft and some lumps here and there. Could feel the wok hey but doubt they used overnight rice. Prawns were mushy not crunchy.

DO NOT EAT HERE. VERY SALTY AND NOT NICE. STAFF ARE ANGRY WORKING HERE TOO. $6.50 - Char kway teow and $7.00 for Hokkien mee. Both were very bad. We ate finish because we don’t want to waste food. We will NEVER come back. Nothing is cooked with love here. They don’t even deserve one star.
