The star must be the dumplings, or 水饺. As ingredients, you get a good mix of meat, prawn, water chestnut and black fungus. Feels like eating 凤城水饺. Solid.

Old school type of wanton mee. Have eaten this a few times. Springy noodles with char siew and boiled wontons in soup. Would recommend getting their fried wantons.

Ordered their dumpling noodles 水餃麵 several times! As a chilli lover, I recommend you to eat it spicy 😄 It’s really good, noodles are very bouncy if you eat on the spot, the dumplings are also filled with lots of ingredients! They close around late noon/ before evening when they’re out of noodles! …

Pretty good wanton mee at Haig Road! Springy noodles that is coated with a nice sauce but doesn't clump together. Nice lean char siew and also freshly fried wantons that is super crispy and filled with juicy meat fillings.

One of the best old-school wanton noodles in the East. Well-balanced flavours and smooth yet springy noodles makes Kian Huat Wanton Noodles a legend in its own right. The only con is the char siew, which is slightly hard, but it works beautifully for old-school taste lovers. Highly recommended but beware the queue!
