Was underestimate this chicken rice stall for long, first try today, is surprised me. With the selling price for whole chicken at $18 and half at $9 only. Which is already so much cheaper than usual whole at $24 and $12 for half. First, their white chicken is smooth and tender, and quite a big size probably 1.5kg weights. Chilli and ginger was okay. Can be better but with such affordable price, I can't ask for more. No additional charges for using quality containers for take away. This is generaous. Will be back surely. ***Noted: From Mar 2022 onwards, price increases to $11 for half and $22 for whole chicken.
Love the chicken rice here. The rice is not too oily and has enough flavour, cooked too perfection that it is soft and fluffy. The steam chicken is great, soft and tender. Love the chilli as well, not very spicy. Definitely one of the best chicken rice I tasted!
Had tried a fair share of local chicken rice. I must say, this stall is actually quite good. Honestly, taste alot better than most of the stalls out there. And quite reasonably priced as well. Wont burn a big hole in your pocket yet yummy delicious food. That’s considered best of the both world already. Cheers!
As another reviewer here said: this is such an underrated stall. The chicken rice here is really good and it’s quite cheap as well. I love the soup! The owners are so friendly and generous too, so that’s always a big bonus. This is definitely one of my favourite spots at OAR Food Centre.
Hand 1/4 chicken mix with rice. Superb! Try the black and white mix.

Ordered half a chicken ($15) and the portion is pathetically small. Each packet of rice cost $0.70
The steam and roasted chicken are equally good. The rice is fragrant while not being too oily. The add-ons vegetable or egg are both fresh and delicious. It's the only chicken rice I eat in this hawker center.

Had been a regular for many years, find that this stall sells the best chicken rice in this hawker, not sure why the reviews are so negative. Think they are more popular for their white chicken more than roasted, I really like their rice though.
