Tried for the first time and I really wanted to give a good review, but am sorely disappointed. While the fish slices were quite thick and ok in freshness, the soup was a deal breaker. It was so diluted, it tasted akin to plain water. At …

I thot it’s quite a decent bowl, fish is of average quality and quantity for $6, the soup still taste ok but no umami to talk about that you will keep drinking. Side ingredients is surprisingly generous with veg tofu etc.

Ordered the sliced grouper with thick beehoon. It was terrible. The fish was so not fresh at all, not a big fan of rubbery texture. Worse, the fish had a very strong fishy smell. Seriously for this kind of quality, $8.7 is so unworthy. If I were a Michelin inspector, I would ask them to take down the label immediately.

My wife, dad, and I always love our meals at Jun Yuan House of Fish! Definitely our favourite fish soup. We especially love pairing it with noodles. I particularly like the spinach soup and the herbal soup. The fish is always fresh too. Thanks for the satisfying meals every time, and the friendly service as always!

Had the herbal seafood soup ($6) and was throughly disappointed by the fact even though this stall was awarded the Michelin, the quality & quantity of ingredients did not match up. The broth was quite diluted and I couldn’t taste the herbal taste. At $6/bowl, I feel that you could certainly find better options in the hawker.

Never come again because of its hygiene! Ordered the herbal seafood soup with rice. The stall operator put in the rice inside a bowl which still have water (from washing). The soup is little and a prawn which has a big black intestine need …
