Hidden gem. Located right next to Hill St char kuay teow. Get the iberico bak kwa ($108 per kg) for extra tender fatty texture.

Tried the $4 piece Bwa Kwa. It’s tender and on the sweet side. The piece is pretty thick and can try.

Handmade Bak Kwa, Iberico Bak Kwa. Contrary to popular belief, we do not have to wait till Chinese New Year to eat Bak Kwa. This hawker stall that sells satay also bbq the Bak Kwa in smaller pieces on sticks and the best part is they offer an Iberico version.

Ordered pork satay end up gave me chicken satay. Seller dreaming. Worst kueh tu pat, damn soft. Got to add 20cents for the satay sauce takeaway box. Satay sauce too watery. Not sure how this stall got its high rating.

The bbq pork bak Kwa is one of the better ones I have tried! She uses lychee logs to smoke and to bbq her products. Her other bbq items such as satays are worth the calories too. A must visit when I am in the area.
