Nice bowl of old-school Fishball noodles. Couple of unique things I noticed about the Mee pok - 1) no vinegar, which means the flavours are more natural. Most Teochew Fishball stalls add vinegar, so this was an unique taste. 2) Hidden mung beans which I found at the very end. Less quantity, but nonetheless something unique in Fishball noodles. Overall nice taste. Asked uncle to add in chilli, though it wasn’t too spicy. Good quantity of Fishballs, fishcake and meatball for only $4. Robust, hot soup to go along with it. Shiok!

I really wonder why there is a long queue! The worst fishball noodles I had before!

This stall has been around for 4 decades. I have eaten at this stall since childhood and it is comfort food to me. The dry meepok doesn't have vinegar which is different from the usual teochew fishball noodles. I especially love their homemade meatballs and fishcake. Would usually preorder meatballs for steamboat.

Old school stall ever since I'm born and raise in Bedok from the 80s. Go for the meatballs instead of fishball. P.S meatball is handmade so its tasty! The later you go, the soup will be more tasty.

The last time I was here at 85 Fengshan Centre, one guy told me Hui Ji is the stall to have my fishball noodle fix and I was going to listen to him and bingo it was good advice! Ordered the $3 small version and added a fish cake costing me $4.50 in total. The fishballs were succulent and overall a good eat! Hor Jiak! 😋😋 …

Meatballs and fishcake were delicious! Portions were generous and the auntie was very friendly. However the noodles had an alkaline after taste, possibly because I came late.

Tried mee pok (flat noodles) dry - one with chilli and the other with ketchup. The quality of the noodles is good. The fish balls and meatball are good too. Meatballs looked hand made due to its irregular shape. The stall is popular with a constant queue of customers (3-5 pax waiting) when we were there during weekday lunch hour.
