It's been awhile trying out at Hot Tomato. It just didnt came along when comes to meal plan (amidst the myriad choices). Paradoxically, genuine good food, freshly prepared, excellent soup (yes, not your usual canned mushroom soup/tomato soup). I guessed to say they are good at soup maybe unfairly remarked. The red meat cuts are clean n well prepared, pasta to nice al-dente, side salad fresh n zesty. Yes it is zesty n crisp. (though is CNY down period where most produce supplier shuts operation). Definitely will revisit. (When it is not so crowded😅).

Food is tasty and good portion. Meats are nicely cooked. Love the salad with it’s unique lemon/lime dressing. Sides are just as good with aromatic truffle fries and grilled corn. Lastly the Ice lemon tea very well brewed with lots of sliced lemon.

Angus ribeye is great! Well flavoured and tender. Their pasta are good too. Caesar salad is okay, sauce is very close to just mayo.

Disappointing. Fries were overcooked they were as hard as rock. Even the fork also difficult to penetrate the fries. Fish were overfried too, very hard. Salmon was also over grilled. For total of $38, it was a great disappointment. And oh yes the chairs are without backrest, can’t sit very relaxingly. Sad.

Thanks for ur consideration ❤️🌹 Blessed 2025 Today 28/8/25 Am back to hot tomato again Gladly being served by a very smiley n helpful Ms Ann. She’s efficient and alert. Hard to find a staff that is so spontaneous looking ard to see if any customers need her help. Yesterday I walked past Hot Tomato,she greeted me with her happy smile too. Can tell she recognises her customers! These are the little things that warm retirees’ hearts ! Good job Ms Ann, Keep it up! GBU ❤️

What you see is not what you get. I was told this is how the Caesar salad is served with sprinkles of egg yolk versus the pic in the menu that clearly has hard boiled eggs.

There is a student promotion however it doesn't state that it is applicable for weekdays only. We found it when we asked the waiter. One of the waiters was thoughtful. He offered a more comfortable chair for my mum when he observed her difficulty in walking. The food is nice overall. My favourite is the prok ribs.
