Had the hainanese mutton stew, very good! And the portions are generous! The kopi was aromatic as well! Great place to have a catch up! Weekday set lunch at $16.80++ with main + soup + drink is great value!

Casual traditional British Hainanese food 🍱. Atmospheric even though it is an open concept next to the escalator. Food is freshly cooked with the traditional dishes cooked in the old fashioned way inherited from Hainanese cooks who served in the British kitchens. Food is affordable and hearty. …

We love this place—they really put a premium on their staff! So warm and competent! Food is always good. The lunch set is very good value. The chicken is moist and tender.

★ Nostalgic British-Hainanese fare inspired by the cooks who worked in British households during Singapore’s colonial days. The decor is simple yet fitting for the restaurant’s nostalgic theme. We ordered a few dishes to share - the only Hainanese dish I’m familiar with is the Hainanese pork chop (love the tangy sauce, so good with rice!), while some were staff recommendations. I personally enjoyed the Mutton Stew, tender meat. The price point is good, and it is a nice spot to drop by for a hearty meal or even a simple tea break with kaya toast and kopi. (And I love the tableware they used here, feels 💯) ➊ Hainan Kaya Toast S$6 ➋ Chicken Satay S$9 (5 sticks) ➌ Traditional Hainan Mutton Stew S$16.50 ➍ Slow-braised Oxtail Stew with Root Vegetables S$24 ➎ Classic Hainanese Pork Chop S$14 ➏ Silver Fish Fried Rice S$11 ➐ (Top up as a set) Chicken Borscht Soup + Golden Muscat Breeze Set +S$7
