Egg tart shell is soft like bread, egg filling is quite bland itself. Not worth it.

Come here for egg tarts and char siew shu if you’re not yet full from your meal at the hawker centre. Little to no queue.

The auntie says she is the worker. Google says 9pm I always go earlier, early 8 but shutter is always down. Maybe she is the boss. So must be very heng to buy. But the bread is goooood.

The colour of the egg tart is pale yellow. Crust is too soft (think it’s because I ordered in the evening) but the egg taste decent. Had the Cha Shao Pastry and that tasted better. $1 each. Think I will try ordering in the morning/day next time.

Polo buns and egg tart aside, i super love their bread. I love the taste and i think it is reasonably priced. Have read through the reviews below and seems like people who gave generally good reviews are stingy in giving the stars and one rated it 1 star without even eating the bread he/she bought.

Compared to other bakery stalls in the same hawker, this is slightly cheaper and still tastes good. Tried the premium char siew bun. It's good.

Just because of the name HK and I gave it a try… Super regretful, the egg tart is not crispy and flavourful at all, a big let down. The aunty also kinda unfriendly (bcs customers keep coming and she got no time to arrange her pastries). Not recommended unless you’ve nothing to dabao ady.

There are 2 options for egg tart: Portuguese egg tart ($1.60) and HK egg tart ($1.20). The HK egg tart was mediocre. Will try the Portuguese one next time!
