The FIFA World Cup 2026 wraps up this weekend, and on the eastern side of Singapore you do not need a sports bar tab to watch it. Five community venues in the East are screening the last four matches free, including the 3rd place play-off between France and England on 19 July at 5am and the final between Spain and Argentina on 20 July at 3am. Our Tampines Hub leads the line-up with its L3 Community Auditorium turned into a walk-in fan zone.
Where the East is screening the final four
The People's Association, SportSG and The Kallang Group confirmed 58 screening venues islandwide for the tournament. For the final weekend, these East-side sites are showing the semis, 3rd place and final:
- Our Tampines Hub (1 Tampines Walk) is the flagship East venue, running Guess the Winner contests and football-themed activities around its L3 Community Auditorium screenings.
- Tampines East CC is running quizzes and giveaways at every screening, with extra giveaways on 15, 16, 19 and 20 July.
- Tampines North CC is holding a lucky draw from the first screening through to the final, with the main draw on final match day.
- Pasir Ris East CC and Pasir Ris Elias CC are both screening the final four, with Elias running a Guess the Winner contest.
- Changi Simei CC and Kaki Bukit CC are also on the final-four list for the East district.
- Kampong Chai Chee CC at Heartbeat@Bedok has been running a soccer arcade game, foosball and Subsoccer stations from 21 June through to 20 July.
Changi Airport is screening every single match
If you missed a CC screening, Changi Airport is the one location in the East showing all 104 tournament matches free across its terminals, not just the Mediacorp free-to-air selection. The airport-wide activation is designed for both passengers and locals, so a long layover or a deliberate trip out to Terminal 3 works just as well as your nearest CC.
What to expect on the ground
Doors at Our Tampines Hub open at 1:15am for the 3am matches and 3:15am for the 5am 3rd place match. Screenings are walk-in, no ticket required at most CCs, though a handful ask you to register online first. The atmosphere is the selling point: large-format screens, dedicated fan zones and the shared noise of a few hundred neighbours reacting to every chance. Bring cash for the kopitiam-style refreshments some CCs are running, and check each CC's Facebook page the night before for last-minute schedule changes.
Mediacorp is the official broadcast rights holder and is airing 28 matches free-to-air, including all games featuring Argentina, Brazil, England, Spain and Portugal. The community screenings carry this same Mediacorp feed, so the picture quality is broadcast-grade rather than a grainy stream.
