This is my first time eating these mee siam from this stall. I likes the whole flavors of the mee siam. I ordered $3.50 and the portion is pretty enough . Like the peanut flavor from the gravy. Personal opinion their mee siam is better than other stall in same hawker.

Ordered the $4 mee pok ta. Accompanying soup was fabulous. There was one fish ball, one pork ball, a few slices of fish cake, one half pork slice and bits of soft minced pork which was well marinated. Pity the chilli was a bit pungent …

Very cheap and nice, hard to find food at such low prices these days even at hawkers. The mee siam broth is rich and the taste is similar to those from the olden days. Would recommend.

For me, I have a particular liking for Chinese styled Mee Siam for its sweet and tangy gravy. This is one favourite of mine - on the slightly sweeter side with visible ground peanut and does not have that layer of chilli oil. A very satisfying plate that goes perfectly with a long black from a nearby stall with specialty coffee.
