saw SG best food 2017 and gave this wanton mee a try. the noodle texture was fine and the bbq pork was soft and flavourful. the wanton thou prepared in front of me wasn't hot. it tasted like a frozen chunk which also had a bad taste.

noodles were cooked slightly under, but had a good bouncy bite to it, nicely elevated by their sauces too. char siew had a great roast to it and were nicely caramelised, a nice balance of lean and fatty parts too. wontons and dumplings were stuffed full of meat. skin wasn't too think and nicely seasoned too. just wished that their char siew were chopped to larger chunks instead, that would really make it the perfect wonton mee. definitely worth the queue and will be back for more.

Overall a good plate of wanton mee. Wanton noodles itself still had a bite to them despite being soft, chilli and sauce pairs well Char siew is the non roasted, red colouring type of char siew so take note Meat in the wantons were not too salty, taste was on point, still chunky and not overbeaten Soup is the normal stock kind but unique to this stall.

I recommend the bbq pork noodles. Nice thin slices of bbq pork, pretty lean with a delicious sauce o er everything. The wonton and soup broth are a pleasant accompaniments included with this meal. However the soup was a little too sweet for me.

This is some actual legit good wanton noodles. Even with takeaway, the noodles, the wanton, the prawn dumplings, are all intact and not soggy. Aunties are super nice and helpful, and not all angsty like most good hawker stalls will. …
