D'Authentic Nasi Lemak was a nasi lemak stall at Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre, known for serving the beloved Malay coconut rice dish with an array of traditional accompaniments. Typical offerings included fragrant coconut rice, crispy fried chicken, sambal chilli, fried egg, crispy anchovies, and cucumber slices, all assembled in the classic style that has made nasi lemak one of Singapore's most cherished dishes. The stall had served the Marine Parade community as part of the neighbourhood food centre's diverse hawker line-up. However, D'Authentic Nasi Lemak at this location has been noted as permanently closed. Visitors to Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre can still enjoy the many other hawker stalls that continue to operate at this popular neighbourhood dining spot. I used to have this Nasi lemak before renovation and I thought it’s nice and decently priced. Price of this Nasi lemak set is at $5.60. It’s pretty pricey for this in a heartland hawker center. As you can see from the photo, chicken wing is pretty dry. There are better ones out there.
