Warong Pak Sapari is a third-generation family stall that has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for its outstanding Malay heritage dishes, most notably its signature mee soto and mee rebus. The mee soto features a deeply aromatic, spiced chicken broth poured over yellow noodles and bean sprouts, topped with shredded chicken and a sambal that adds a satisfying kick, while the mee rebus delivers a thick, sweet-spicy gravy with egg, tofu and green chillies. Founded by the late Pak Sapari in the 1960s, the stall is now run by his descendants who have preserved the original recipes while keeping prices remarkably affordable. The warong also serves nasi padang and other Malay staples, but it is the mee soto that draws the longest queues from early morning. A visit to this Michelin-recognised stall is a taste of Singapore's Malay hawker heritage at its finest.
